Volvo to show off it's DRIVe range at the EcoVelocity

Head down to the EcoVelocity between the 8th and 11th September 2011, to see Volvos’ complete range of DRIVe Eco cars and even get the chance to drive the C30, V60 and XC60 on the specially-constructed track at Battersea Power Station in London.

The complete range of environmentally friendly DRIVe range will be on display at Battersea Power Station in London between the 8th and 11th September. The range includes 60, V60, XC60, V70, XC70, S80, C30, S40 and V50. All of Volvos’ current DRIVe range are powered by normal combustion engines emitting low emissions.

Volvo have also constructed a special track and you have the opportunity to drive the C30, V60 and XC60 around the famous power station.

As well as Eco cars, there will be a diverse range of electric, hybrid and very low emission cars at the EcoVelocity show, which is being organised by IMIE, organisers of the British Motor Show and free newspaper Metro.

The Volvos boasting the best Eco and financial credentials are the C30, S40 and V50 which produce below 100 g/km of CO2 with Volvo’s DRIVe engines. As well as being kind on the environment, these are also kind on the wallet, as they are exempt from the London Congestion Charge and benefit from free Road Tax in the UK.
